O’Bayley Communications
In early 2003, I recognized the increasing demand for effective, affordable graphic design, advertising, and publicity here in the Coachella Valley, and decided to create my own company.
I launched O’Bayley Communications in February 2004. Over the preceeding year, I had invested in technology and systems to ensure my ability to provide the highest quality results to my clients.
In early 2005, after a successful first year running the business from a home-based office, the operation was relocated into professional offices in downtown Palm Springs. Our current location positions O'Bayley Communications to grow as I expand the firm. With the growth in the Coachella Valley, even in these sometimes trying economic times, I believe there is a growing need for P.R. and design services. I am proud to say that I have accomplished the goals set out in my initial business plan, which specified a focus on non-profit organizations as clients.
The Team:
In January 2008 Blake Holiday joined the firm as Public Relations Specialist, and his primary role was to obtain local speaking engagements and radio and TV interviews for clients of O’Bayley Communications. Blake is now the primary Publicist for many client accounts.
Blake brings more than 15 years of combined strategic marketing, development and coordination experience to the company. He also has an extensive background in event and non-profit management.
Background:
Tim O’Bayley, Principal, has more than twenty-five years of experience in creative and technical writing, marketing communications, and public relations, from the smallest non-profits to the largest corporate entities in the world. As a desert resident since 1998, he knows how to get things done here.
When appropriate, we collaborate with the best of the best to deliver for our clients. This includes a roster of extremely talented photographers, printers, web designers, event producers, and other vendors. I also collaborate and partner with publicists in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tampa, and New York.
Prior to launching O'Bayley Communications I had the pleasure of working with some very exciting companies:

Co-wrote world-wide expansion plan for product placement division

Working with the media and others:
I have built excellent relationships with many contacts throughout the Coachella Valley over the last nine years, including some of the most valuable, high-quality vendors. We are proud to mention the following:

Print Media Contacts: The Desert Sun, The Press Enterprise, Season in the Sun Magazine, Palm Springs Life, Desert Post Weekly, The Bottom Line/Pulp, La Prensa Hispana, The Desert Entertainer, Talk, Inland Empire Weekly, The Business Press, The Black Voice News, and many more.
Web Development: I proudly partner with Graphtek Advertising & Design and ImagineIt! Media.
Television: KESQ TV-3 , KMIR6, Time Warner Cable, and KPSP Local2
Radio: Desert Radio Group, RM Broadcasting, RR Broadcasting, and others in the Inland Empire.

I am fortunate to have many contacts in Media and Public Relations circles. My service as board President of the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation is also a plus for my clients. My Media Contact database currently includes more than 275 individuals/organizations. My distribution capabilities include the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, San Diego, and beyond. Industry-specific customized distribution is also available, as is supplemental paid distribution via PR-Web.
GRAPHIC DESIGN:
In addition to Public Relations and Special Event production, we also offer Graphic Design services. From 'one-off' brochures, to a full logo/identity package, we offer excellent graphic design at the most affordable prices. (Please visit the Portfolio section of this site.)
I would be pleased to discuss with you the ways in which we can help you achieve your business and marketing goals.
RECOMMENDATION: Although we no longer represent the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, I am particularly proud to have been involved with their growth during the six years from 2003 through 2008. I offer a letter of recommendation for your consideration.
